Samsung is reportedly adjusting the camera specifications for its upcoming Galaxy S27 series, creating a clearer distinction between the Pro and Ultra models.
According to a Naver blogger known for accurate leaks, the Galaxy S27 Pro will no longer feature camera hardware nearly identical to the Ultra.

Instead, it will share some components with the base S27 and S27+ models.
This move positions the Pro as a middle-ground device: stronger than the standard S27 but not matching the Ultra's photographic capabilities.
Enthusiasts hoping for a compact Ultra may be disappointed.

Both the Pro and Ultra are expected to receive a 16MP front camera, a significant upgrade from the long-standing 12MP sensor.

However, telephoto setups will differ.
Samsung is rumored to drop the dedicated 3x telephoto lens on the Ultra, relying on digital zoom and AI up to 5x before switching to a periscope lens.
