Thunderobot has introduced a new 16-inch thin-and-light gaming laptop at the BW2026 trade show, drawing attention for its remarkably low weight.

The Zero Air 16 Little Dragon Racing Edition is a collaboration with the ZM Zero Kilometer Drift Team.

Its standout feature is the extensive use of carbon fiber in the chassis, bringing the weight down to just 1.64kg.

For a 16-inch gaming laptop, 1.64kg is unusually light.

The company applied high-strength carbon fiber to the lid, keyboard deck, and bottom panel, finished with a soft-touch coating.

Even with the included 210W power brick, total travel weight is about 2kg.

Specifications and Features

The laptop can be configured with up to an Intel Core Ultra 7 356H processor and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5070 laptop GPU.

Thunderobot claims the system delivers up to 160W of total performance output.

The display is a 2.5K panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, branded as a Hummingbird Eye-Care Screen.

It also includes an ACR anti-glare coating to reduce reflections in bright environments.

Connectivity options include a Thunderbolt 4 USB-C port, HDMI 2.1, a Mini DisplayPort, and a dedicated RJ45 Ethernet jack.

Additional standard I/O ports and battery capacity details have not yet been disclosed.

For those not interested in the drift team branding, Thunderobot previously teased a standard version of the Zero Air 16 earlier this month.
