Vivo product manager Han Boxiao has teased the X500 Pro Max's camera stabilization on Weibo, following a previous teaser about the phone's 17EV dynamic range.
Han highlighted that while photos can be taken multiple times to pick the sharpest one, a single shaky or dark second in a video can ruin the entire clip.

To address this, Vivo is focusing on consistency rather than just chasing higher specs.
Gimbal-Level Stabilization
The X500 Pro Max will feature a 3-degree wide-angle, gimbal-level stabilization system on its main camera, with a stabilization range twice that of last year's model.

For photos, it retains the CIPA 7.0 stabilization rating as the X300 Ultra's periscope telephoto camera, but now applied to the main camera.
Better stabilization also improves low-light shots by allowing slower shutter speeds without blur, letting more light reach the sensor.

The system will work alongside a 50MP main sensor, reportedly developed with Sony and branded as the Zeiss Ultra Dynamic Main Camera.
Han's next teaser will focus on the 'Thanos Telephoto' lens.

The Vivo X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max are set to launch in September, with more teasers expected.
