A massive earthquake rattled southern Mexico and neighboring Central American nations early Friday morning, sending people fleeing from swaying buildings.

The United States Geological Survey reported a magnitude-7.4 earthquake struck off the coast of southern Mexico, near the border with Guatemala, just before 8 AM PT.

The quake was felt across three countries: Mexico, Guatemala, and El Salvador.

Videos captured people evacuating office buildings as large skyscrapers visibly swayed during the shaking.

No injuries or significant damage have been reported so far, according to initial assessments.
