Rumer Willis has secured another legal win in her ongoing custody dispute with ex Derek Richard Thomas.
A Los Angeles County Superior Court judge decided that Derek's visits with their 3-year-old daughter Louetta will remain supervised for now.
The question of whether Derek can have overnight visits without a monitor will be taken up at a hearing on September 10.
The judge also instructed both parents to agree on a monitor they trust for the visits.
If they cannot reach an agreement, a professional monitor will be appointed.
Other issues raised by Rumer were not addressed in this hearing; the judge said she should file them separately.
Rumer had rushed to court last week, claiming Derek repeatedly violated custody orders and showed dangerous judgment around their child.
She alleged Derek had ongoing problems with the nannies assigned to supervise his time with Louetta.
In one incident, Willis claimed Derek left the supervising nanny with Louetta at a Fourth of July parade and later refused to let her into the Airbnb where he was staying.
She also questioned his judgment, saying Derek wanted to cross a five-lane highway with a 55-mph speed limit while with Louetta.
Additionally, she alleged he chose to walk about two and a half miles in extreme heat instead of renting a car.
The custody fight between Rumer and Derek has been contentious for months, with even Rumer's mother, Demi Moore, publicly criticizing Derek.
