Citizen has expanded its US watch lineup with the AW1890-01A, a new model in the Terra Force series.

The timepiece is now available on Citizen's website for $350.

This straightforward field watch runs on the company's solar-powered Eco-Drive movement, eliminating the need for battery changes.

Design and Features

The watch features a 41.2mm silver-tone stainless steel case, a size that suits most wrists without appearing oversized.

Its angular case design includes a textured crown for easier grip.

Instead of a metal bracelet or leather band, Citizen opted for a gray nylon Nato strap with a standard buckle.

Nato straps are common for field watches due to their lightweight and easily swappable nature.

The dial is mostly gray with standard Arabic numerals for hours and a curved outer ring marking minutes.

The hour and minute hands are partially skeletonized and coated with luminous material for low-light visibility.

A blue seconds hand adds a subtle pop of color, and a date window sits at the 6 o'clock position.

The dial is protected by mineral crystal, which offers decent impact resistance but is more prone to scratches than sapphire.

Inside, the Caliber J810 Eco-Drive movement charges via any light source, whether sunlight or indoor lamps.

The watch has a water resistance rating of 100 meters (10 Bar), making it suitable for swimming and showering, though not for scuba diving.

In related news, Citizen recently launched two limited-edition timepieces: a bullhead racing watch with Eco-Drive and 200-meter water resistance, and a bold Promaster Eco-Drive model with an oversized gold-tone design.
