Hisense has officially announced its new e-ink phone, the Hisense A10, in China. The device features a 6.13-inch e-ink display on the front, designed to mimic paper.
The phone is ideal for reading e-books, taking notes, and studying. It offers low power consumption and reduced eye strain during long sessions.

The standout feature is a magnetically detachable color LCD panel on the back.
Users can snap it on to view images, comics, or charts in color, or use it for entertainment and social apps.
This approach is similar to BigMe's HiBreak Dual, but Hisense allows the color panel to be removed entirely.

The A10 lets users switch between a fixed e-ink screen and a removable color display depending on their activity.
On the hardware side, the A10 runs on a 4nm octa-core Qualcomm chipset. It ships with Android 16 and supports 5G and Wi-Fi 6.
Hisense says the phone is aimed at students, heavy readers, people with sensitive eyes, and those doing light office work.
