Anker has launched a new charger in China, the 160W Smart Display Charger Pro+, designed to support proprietary fast-charging standards from Xiaomi and Huawei.

Priced at 699 yuan (about $103) during its launch on JD.

com, the charger adds direct support for Xiaomi's 120W MiPPS and Huawei's 66W SCP protocols, allowing full-speed charging without the original brick.

The device includes three USB-C ports and supports standard formats like 140W USB Power Delivery 3.1, 100W PPS, QC 3.0, FCP, AFC, and UFCS.

It can charge laptops, tablets, gaming consoles, and phones from Apple, Samsung, Lenovo, and others. The maximum combined output is 160W.

Display and app features

On the front, a built-in color display shows real-time power output and device details, including identifying specific Apple hardware by name.

The charger also has Bluetooth connectivity to an Anker companion app.

Through the app, users can change the screensaver, monitor power draw, turn individual ports on or off, schedule charging, and manually allocate power in 1W increments.

Internally, Anker's PowerIQ 5.0 manages power distribution, checking device requirements every two minutes and redirecting unused wattage where needed.

The charger measures 65 x 52 x 35 mm and uses three internal temperature sensors to handle heat.

Anker says it can sustain a 140W draw from a single port for 24 hours without performance drop, certified by TÜV Rheinland.

It also supports over-the-air firmware updates for future protocol additions.
