Vivo's upcoming X500 series has taken another step toward a global release.
All three models—the standard X500, X500 Pro, and X500 Pro Max—have now been spotted in Malaysia's SIRIM certification database.
The listings come as Vivo prepares to launch the lineup in China on September 21.
The base model, carrying model number V2619, had already been certified on SIRIM, IMDA, and TUV.
It is now joined by the X500 Pro Max (model V2610) and the X500 Pro (model V2621).
A SIRIM listing is a regulatory requirement for electronics sold in Malaysia and typically reveals little about the devices themselves.
The filings mainly confirm the model numbers and indicate that Vivo is readying the X500 series for the Malaysian market.
There is still no word on when the phones will be available outside China.
Camera and Display Details Emerge
Vivo confirmed the X500 series launch date at its Creator Festival event in Yantai, where it also shared camera details.
The X500 Pro models will be the first to use Vivo's new BluePrint LightGuard 900 sensor, reportedly based on the Sony LYT-910.
Vivo says the sensor can deliver up to 17EV of dynamic range.
The Pro models will also support 4K video recording at 240fps for slow-motion footage, along with 4K 120fps HDR video and 10-bit 4:2:2 encoding.
An official image of the X500 Pro Max shows a large circular camera module on the back, with the rear panel gently sloping around it.
The Pro Max comes in black and orange, while official images of the full lineup reveal additional color options for all three models.
The lineup is also expected to use a 64MP Sony LYT-610 sensor for the telephoto camera.
Vivo is reportedly pairing it with CIPA 5.5-rated stabilization and support for a 200mm teleconverter accessory.
Certification runs like this one usually show up weeks before an official global announcement. As September 21 approaches, more regulatory filings are likely to follow.
