Motorola has already confirmed that the Edge 70 Neo is headed to India, but full specifications remain under wraps.
A new Geekbench listing has now filled in some of those gaps.
The listing shows the Motorola Edge 70 Neo scoring 723 points in the single-core test and 2,943 points in the multi-core test.
The chipset is identified as the QTI SM7635, which carries the marketing name Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 3.
It uses an octa-core CPU with four cores at 1.80GHz, three at 2.40GHz, and a prime core reaching 2.50GHz.
Graphics are handled by the Adreno 810 GPU. The Geekbench entry also lists 6GB of RAM and Android 16 as the operating system.
The test was run using Geekbench 7.0.0 on Android AArch64, though final retail performance can vary slightly.
Same Chip as the Edge 70 Plus
The Edge 70 Neo uses the same chipset as the global version of the Motorola Edge 70 Plus.
That raises the possibility that the Neo is a rebranded Edge 70 Plus for the Indian market.
This would not be a new approach for Motorola, which has used a similar technique for some past Edge-series phones.
The Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 is a mid-range chip built for smooth everyday use rather than flagship-tier gaming.
It should not be expected to compete with pricier silicon on raw power.
Motorola has not yet revealed the Edge 70 Neo's display, battery, or camera specifications.
If the phone is indeed based on the Edge 70 Plus, more details could emerge once Motorola officially announces its India launch.
