Nick Reiner will not receive any special treatment when he turns 33 behind bars on Monday.
A Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department representative said birthdays are treated like every other day in custody.
The official told Page Six that inmates have access to telephones according to module schedules and visits, but there are no additional privileges for birthdays.
Nick is accused of murdering his father, filmmaker Rob Reiner, and his mother, producer Michele Singer Reiner.
He has pleaded not guilty to two counts of first-degree murder.
Visiting Day and Court Appearance
The representative said Sept. 14 will be a normal visiting day.
It remains unclear whether any family members will attend.
His siblings, Jake and Romy Reiner, previously testified before the Los Angeles grand jury that later indicted him.
The day after his birthday, Nick is scheduled to return to court for a pre-trial hearing on Tuesday.
No trial date has been set.
