Xiaomi has started rolling out the HyperOS 4 global beta program, a month after the beta was first introduced in China.
The program will cover seven smartphones, with the first batch already receiving the beta.
The initial round includes the Xiaomi 17, Xiaomi 17 Ultra, and the Leica Leitzphone powered by Xiaomi.
Recruitment for these three devices is currently live.
Second Wave and Regional Limits
The remaining devices will become eligible starting September 17th.
This second group comprises the Xiaomi 17T Pro, Xiaomi 17T, Xiaomi 15 Ultra, and Xiaomi 15.
The beta is initially limited to Global and EEA models, with more regions expected to join later.
Because the number of seats may be limited, interested users should apply as early as possible.
To apply, go to Xiaomi Community, then ME, then Beta testing, then Recruiting test, and fill in the required details.
Selected applicants will receive a beta OTA update.
Xiaomi cautions that beta builds are prone to bugs and errors.
Users are advised to back up important data before upgrading.
Rolling back to HyperOS 3 will require flashing the device, so there is no easy return.
