Xiaomi has introduced the Mijia Smart Range Hood 3 Max, its most advanced kitchen ventilation appliance to date.
Pre-orders are now open in China, with the regular price set at 5,999 yuan (about €770).
A national subsidy brings the price down to 4,599 yuan (roughly €590). Xiaomi describes it as Mijia's top smoke-purifying model.
Performance and smart features
The range hood delivers a maximum static pressure of 1,700 Pa and a top fan speed of 17.5 m/s, the highest Mijia has recorded.
It is powered by a 360 W motor with eight hurricane suction levels.
Compared with the previous generation, Xiaomi claims 34.6% more wind speed, an 89% jump in static pressure, and noise intensity cut by 84%.
A four-vortex cyclone captures smoke at the source, while a high-speed backward-tilting airflow handles heavy stir-fry moments.
An air curtain helps keep fumes from rising toward the user.
A constant air-volume algorithm senses flue resistance and adjusts automatically, so the hood should work properly whether on the 1st floor or the 67th.
The smart side includes a 3MP camera paired with a VLA visual model trained on more than 100,000 real cooking clips.
It checks the smoke situation every 0.1 seconds and can change speed within 0.6 seconds, with Xiaomi claiming over 98% accuracy.
AI anti-overflow protection watches for a pot about to boil over, sounds an alarm, and can tell a compatible Mi Home cooktop to cut the heat.
The hood also monitors gas and smoke around the clock and features a micron-level PM2.5 sensor with a three-color display.
Alerts can be pushed to a phone through the Mi Home app, and the hood can turn itself on if it senses ventilation is needed.
Other practical features include negative-ion sterilization, which Xiaomi says removes 97% of PM2.5 and achieves 98% sterilization rates.
An oleophobic coating on the impeller and a smart dry-cleaning mode eliminate the need for disassembly.
Durability testing equal to 1,680 hours supports Xiaomi's claim of strong suction lasting ten years.
Noise control uses 17 different design tricks and lands at 59 dB(A) on high power.
