Christie Prody, the former girlfriend of O. J.
Simpson, was arrested in North Dakota on drug charges, according to jail officials.
Prody was booked Thursday into the Cass County Jail on three offenses.
The charges include possession of a controlled substance described as a depressant, possession of a controlled substance identified as methamphetamine, and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.
West Fargo police made the arrest, though details of what led to the charges have not been released.
A booking photo was also taken, which was described as not glamorous.
Background on Prody and O.J. Simpson
Prody dated Simpson for 12 years after he was acquitted of murdering Nicole Brown Simpson and Ron Goldman at his 1995 criminal trial.
He was later found liable for their deaths in a civil suit.
In 2009, Prody appeared on ABC's "Good Morning America" and discussed physical and mental abuse she claimed Simpson inflicted on her during their relationship.
She also suggested Simpson killed Nicole and Ron based on comments he made to her, saying it took her "many years to realize and face that hard, terrible truth."
O. J.
Simpson died of prostate cancer in 2024.
