Xiaomi Auto has officially named its long-rumored new vehicle lineup. The company announced 'Sky Nomad' as a new brand, known in China as Xiaomi Pengcheng (小米澎程).
The announcement came this morning via a newly launched WeChat page for the brand. Xiaomi has also started teasing the brand through city screen advertising in China.

Sky Nomad is positioned as an extended-range electric vehicle (EREV) series. The existing Xiaomi SU7 and YU7 SUV are an SUV and a sedan, respectively.
The first model under the new brand is reportedly the N90, a full-size SUV powered by an EREV powertrain.
According to earlier reports, the N90 uses a 1.5-liter turbocharged range extender that charges the battery and powers electric motors rather than driving the wheels directly.

The N90 is a large vehicle, measuring 5.3 meters long with a 3.1-meter wheelbase. It is expected in both five-seat and seven-seat layouts.
