Xiaomi has started teasing its next-generation Xring O3 chipset, along with a new burgundy-colored foldable phone that appears to be the rumored Xiaomi MIX Ultra.
An official image shows Xiaomi CEO Lei Jun holding the device, which stands out because none of Xiaomi's current foldables come in that shade.

The phone's official name is still unconfirmed, with reports using names like Xiaomi Mix Fold 5, Xiaomi 17 Fold, and Xiaomi 18 Fold, but newer leaks point to Xiaomi MIX Ultra.
Expected specs and Xring O3 details
The Xiaomi MIX Ultra is expected to feature a 7.5-inch or 7.6-inch inner foldable display, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, and a 200-megapixel main camera.

It may pack a battery around 6,000mAh with wireless charging, and run on HyperOS 4 based on Android 17.
The Xring O3, codenamed 'Lhasa', is rumored to adopt a three-cluster CPU architecture, possibly 1+3+4 or 1+2+5, instead of the previous four-cluster 10-core design.
The prime core could reach up to 4.05GHz, with performance cores at 3.42GHz and efficiency cores at 3.02GHz, a significant jump from the O1's 1.79GHz.
