Byron Scott believes LeBron James could have achieved more during his time with the Los Angeles Lakers.
The former Lakers guard gave James a 'B' grade for his eight-season stint with the franchise.

Scott shared his thoughts with TMZ Sports shortly after news broke that James would be playing elsewhere for his 24th NBA season.
He described the move as beneficial for both parties.

Reflecting on the past eight years, Scott admitted he anticipated multiple championships from James, not just the one title secured in the 2020 NBA bubble.
He noted that once the Lakers traded for Luka Doncic, the decision to move on from James became inevitable.
Scott explained that Los Angeles can now build around the younger Slovenian star using the salary cap space that would have been allocated to James.

He also expressed confidence that James can still perform at a high level, suggesting Cleveland would be a fitting place for him to end his Hall of Fame career.
