DJI has introduced the Mic Mini 2S, a compact wireless microphone system designed for content creators and filmmakers.
The device packs professional audio capabilities into a lightweight form factor.

The standout feature is 32-bit floating-point internal recording, which captures audio from whispers to loud sounds without distortion or clipping.
This provides greater flexibility during post-production.
Each transmitter includes 14.5GB of built-in storage, supporting up to 28 hours of loop recording.
Users can choose between raw format for detailed editing or processed files for immediate use.
Weighing only 12 grams, the transmitter features a detachable magnetic clip and a removable front cover.

It is available in Obsidian Black and Cloud White, with additional color options and windproof fur covers sold separately.
The noise reduction system offers two modes: Weak for indoor environments to reduce fan noise or echo, and Strong for outdoor settings with traffic or wind.
Battery life reaches up to 11 hours on the transmitter and 10 hours on the receiver.
The charging case extends total usage to around 40 hours, and fast charging provides about one hour of use from a five-minute charge.
The transmitter can also function as a standalone voice recorder.

On the connectivity front, one receiver can pair with up to four transmitters, including older DJI models. It supports mono, stereo, or quad track output.
The system works directly with DJI's Osmo Pocket 4, Action 6, and other ecosystem devices, and supports Bluetooth connections to phones.
Transmission range reaches up to 400 meters in ideal conditions.
Pricing and availability
In China, DJI offers several bundles: a one-to-two charging case kit for 1,199 yuan (approximately €154), a 1-to-1 bundle for 629 yuan, a phone-to-phone kit with case for 629 yuan, and a single transmitter for 399 yuan (about €51).
Special artist collaboration magnetic covers are available for 199 yuan.

Global market pricing has not been announced, but the Mic Mini 2S is expected to launch internationally soon.
