Vivo's upcoming X500 series is inching closer to its expected September launch in China, as the standard model has now secured certification from the country's 3C authority.
The listing, which appeared on the certification platform, shows a Vivo phone with model number V2602A, believed to be the standard X500.

According to the certification, the device will support 90W fast charging, aligning with the charging speeds seen on the X500 Pro and X500 Pro Max.

The X500 Pro, also carrying the model number V2602A, had previously been certified, confirming 90W charging, n79 band support, and BeiDou satellite communication.
Meanwhile, the X500 Pro Max, with model number V2609A, also received 3C certification, revealing the same 90W charging capability.

Interestingly, the global version of the Pro Max, model V2610, has already been approved in Indonesia.
Expected specifications
Rumors suggest the standard X500 will feature a different rear design compared to the Pro models, with the camera module placed in the upper-left corner instead of a central circular module.

The device is said to sport a 6.59-inch flat OLED display with 1.5K resolution, and could be powered by a Dimensity 9-series chip, possibly a 3nm variant rather than the 2nm Dimensity 9600 Pro expected in the Pro models.
A large 7,500mAh battery with 90W wired and 40W wireless charging is also anticipated.
For photography, the X500 is rumored to include a 50MP main camera with a 1/1.28-inch sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide lens, and a 64MP periscope telephoto camera.

The entire lineup is expected to run on OriginOS 7 based on Android 17.
