According to the leak, the M8x 5G will feature a 6.9-inch IPS LCD display with HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
This would make it the first M8-series phone to use an LCD panel, as the M8 and M8 Power both have AMOLED screens.
Under the hood, the device is expected to run on MediaTek's Dimensity 6300 chipset.
It is said to come with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage, expandable via microSD.

The phone is also tipped to ship with HyperOS 3 out of the box.
Battery life appears to be a key selling point, with reports mentioning a 6,000mAh cell and 33W wired charging.
Camera details remain scarce, but recent Poco teasers have shown a dual rear camera setup with an LED flash.
Design-wise, there is talk of a green colour option with a gold-accented camera module and a flat frame.
Similarities with Redmi 17C 5G
The leaked hardware closely matches what has been circulating about the Redmi 17C 5G.

That device is also expected to use a 6.9-inch 720p LCD, the same Dimensity 6300 processor, and a 6,000mAh battery with 33W charging.
Earlier speculation linked the M8x to the Redmi 17 5G, which uses a Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 and a larger 7,500mAh battery.
However, the latest information suggests that is no longer accurate.
In India, the Poco M8x 5G would become the third model in the M8 series.
