A Pennsylvania man is being investigated in connection with the disappearance of at least one woman after federal agents arrested him on gun charges and discovered a handwritten note praising notorious serial killer Ted Bundy.
Eugene Horsch was taken into custody on Friday following a raid by FBI agents and local police at his Philadelphia home.

Authorities found hazardous chemicals, multiple firearms, ammunition, and the alleged note referencing Bundy, according to Philadelphia Police Deputy Commissioner Frank Vanore.
Vanore stated that investigators also uncovered a 55-gallon drum, several urns, and secret compartments inside Horsch's residence.

Park Ranger reported overhearing a heated argument between Horsch and his girlfriend in a parked car.
The girlfriend allegedly said Horsch intended to hurt her, prompting the ranger to check on her and report the incident.
When police located Horsch, he was carrying a fake Drug Enforcement Administration ID badge, a switchblade, and two guns, Vanore said.

Additionally, Horsch's girlfriend was found with a bogus ID bearing her photo but the name of a woman reported missing in February 2023 in Philadelphia's Kensington neighborhood.
The girlfriend told police she was unaware of the missing woman and claimed Horsch gave her the fake ID because she had outstanding arrest warrants.
Vanore has not publicly identified the missing woman, noting there is currently no evidence she was ever inside Horsch's home.
