DJI has unveiled the Osmo 360 II, a new 360-degree camera with a 1-inch sensor and native 8K/60fps video recording.
The camera also offers 14.5 stops of dynamic range, 105GB of built-in storage, and AI-powered subject tracking.

Pricing and Availability
The Osmo 360 II starts at 3,299 yuan (around $490) in China.
The base package includes the camera, a 2,150mAh cold-resistant battery, two lens protection covers, a carrying bag, and other accessories.
A 3,999-yuan Shooting Kit (around $580) adds two extra batteries, a multifunctional battery case, an adjustable quick-release adapter, and DJI's 1.2-meter invisible selfie stick.
Design and Durability
Weighing just 183 grams, the camera is lightweight and portable.
The lens features a second-generation optical super-hard coating for improved scratch and wear resistance.
It is also interchangeable, so a damaged lens doesn't require replacing the entire camera.
The Osmo 360 II is waterproof to 10 meters without a case, and up to 50 meters with DJI's invisible waterproof case.
Sensor and Imaging
The headline feature is the new square high-dynamic-range sensor, designed specifically for panoramic cameras.

DJI claims sensor utilization is improved by 25% compared to conventional 1-inch sensors.
The sensor uses 2.4-micron fused large pixels and works with the image-processing hardware to capture native 8K/60fps panoramic video.
It also offers 14.5 stops of dynamic range, twice the brightness tolerance of the previous generation.
The front and rear cameras can handle exposure independently.
Low-light performance is enhanced with an f/1.9 aperture and DJI's AI Super Night Scene 2.0 noise-reduction system.
Beyond standard 8K video, the camera can capture 120-megapixel HDR panoramic photos, 16K panoramic time-lapses, and 8K/120fps time-freeze footage.
It also records 10-bit video and supports D-Log M.

Action-Ready Features
DJI pitches the Osmo 360 II as a hands-free camera for action sports.
Motorcyclists can mount it to their bikes and start recording with gestures or voice commands.
For skiing, it records 8K panoramic slow-motion and up to 64x super slow motion.
Users can trigger recording by twisting the selfie stick or using gestures, even while wearing gloves.
AI and Connectivity
AI-powered subject tracking keeps a subject centered as the camera rotates or changes orientation.
The camera also supports AI one-click image creation and NFC one-touch connection.
For audio, it connects directly to compatible DJI microphone transmitters, including the DJI Mic 3 and DJI Mic Mini 2, via OsmoAudio.
The Osmo 360 II uses a two-way magnetic quick-release system with a 1/4-inch threaded mount, compatible with DJI Osmo accessories and traditional mounts.
