It is available in black and silver color options.
Physical 7.1 Audio Architecture
To achieve true 7.1 surround sound, Lenovo engineered a patented six-driver acoustic architecture inside the earcups.
The system combines two primary 40mm drivers with four secondary 20mm drivers.
According to Lenovo, this hardware-level separation of audio channels helps players distinguish overlapping in-game sounds with improved directional accuracy and lower latency compared to standard virtual processing.
The headset also features Hi-Res audio certification and a frequency response range of 20Hz to 40kHz.
Titanium-coated diaphragms are used to enhance audio clarity and dynamic range.

Additionally, a feature called Soundprint Perspective is tuned to identify and highlight specific in-game sounds, aiding players in locating sound sources.
Microphone and Controls
The Y960 comes with a detachable, unidirectional microphone featuring a cardioid pickup pattern and AI environmental noise cancellation.
It also supports sidetone, allowing users to hear their own voice through the speakers.
An inline controller with a dual sound card setup lets users switch between 7.1 and 2.0 channel audio.
It also allows changing between Game, Music, and Cinema sound profiles directly from the cable without additional software.

Design and Connectivity
The headset features customizable RGB lighting with 16 million colors and works with Microsoft Dynamic Lighting.
Weighing 346 grams, it uses a suspended dual-side headband design to distribute weight for comfortable extended use. The ear cushions are fully enclosed for passive noise isolation.
The Y960 connects via a cable and includes USB-C and USB-A options, plus a dedicated 3.5mm microphone port.
It is plug-and-play, requiring no driver downloads, and is compatible with PCs, consoles, handheld gaming devices, and phones.
At the same event, Lenovo also unveiled the Yoga 32 Ultra Aura all-in-one PC with a 4K 165Hz OLED display and Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor, as well as the YOGA Air 14 Ultra Aura laptop powered by Intel Core Ultra chips.
The headset uses titanium-coated diaphragms, which are designed to improve audio clarity and dynamic range.
