Lenovo has introduced a new 300W GaN charger under its Legion brand, priced at less than $60.
The adapter was announced alongside other products like the Lenovo Yoga Air 14 Ultra and the Legion Y70 smartphone.

While laptop chargers are often overlooked, Lenovo aims to address the inconvenience of carrying bulky power bricks.
Compact Design and GaN4.0 Technology
The Legion 300W GaN adapter utilizes GaN4.0 technology, enabling high power output in a smaller form factor.
It measures 82 x 82 x 33mm, making it significantly more portable than traditional high-wattage adapters.
The charger supports Lenovo's proprietary 20V/15A fast charging protocol, designed for Legion gaming laptops in performance mode.
A three-prong grounded plug helps prevent static leakage, according to the company.

Lenovo claims the adapter maintains stable 300W output within a “golden voltage range” of 200V to 240V.
Durability and Optional Display
The adapter features a reinforced Slim square connector and soft rubber reinforcement around the cable.
It includes a 1.5-meter charging cable in the box.
An optional version comes with a digital display that shows real-time charging power via Lenovo's “AI Power” monitoring system.

Compatibility and Pricing
The charger is compatible with Legion laptops from 2023 to 2026, including the 7000P, 7000X, 9000P, and 9000X series.
Other laptops using Lenovo's Slim square charging connector may also work, though performance may vary based on system and BIOS limitations.
Priced at 399 yuan (approximately $58) in China, the adapter will go on sale on May 31.
