OBE has introduced a new budget-friendly projector in China, the C3 Pro, priced at 1,175 yuan (around $172).
It is now available through JD. com.

Design and Stand
The C3 Pro comes with a built-in gimbal stand that allows up to 120 degrees of vertical tilt.
This enables ceiling projection from a bedside table without additional props.
The base also functions as a touch-controlled ambient night light, designed for nightstand use.
The device weighs about 2.04 kg (4.5 pounds) and measures 150 x 135 x 263 mm, making it portable.
Display and Optics
The projector delivers native 1080p resolution with 570 CVIA lumens brightness.
It uses a fully sealed optical engine called Wukong X, paired with an LCD panel developed with TCL CSOT.

It offers a 2800:1 contrast ratio and supports HDR10 and 4K video decoding.
A Time-of-Flight sensor and full-color camera enable automatic focus, keystone correction, obstacle avoidance, and wall color adaptation.
Hardware and Software
Internally, the C3 Pro is powered by an MT9-series processor, 1GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage.
It runs on the DaYanCheng OS, supporting USB media playback, voice commands, and screen mirroring via AirPlay, Miracast, and DLNA.
Connectivity includes Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.3, HDMI 2.0, USB 2.0, and a 3.5mm audio port.

A built-in 6W speaker can double as a standalone Bluetooth speaker when the display is off.
The projector also features a low-latency mode for gaming consoles like PlayStation or Nintendo Switch. The manufacturer states the cooling fan operates below 26dB.
