Meta is making its smart glasses more accessible with a new in-house brand and a lower price point.
The company announced Meta Glasses, a line of screenless smart glasses developed in partnership with eyewear manufacturer EssilorLuxottica.

Pricing and Models
The new frames start at $299, which is $80 cheaper than the second-generation Ray-Ban Meta models released last year.
The initial lineup includes three frame designs: the Adventurer (standard square, two sizes), the Fury (thicker build), and the Starfire (slim oval, designed with Kylie Jenner).
The Starfire is priced at $399.
Meta offers 26 configurations across colors like black, green, and tortoiseshell, as well as lens types including prescription, polarized, and photochromic.

Hardware improvements include three-way adjustable nose pads for a better fit.
Technology and Features
Internally, the glasses retain Meta's existing smart glasses platform with no displays.
They feature built-in cameras, open-ear speakers, and a multi-mic array for calls, wind noise reduction, and voice commands.

Battery life is rated at up to eight hours, with a folding charging case providing an additional 40 hours.
The glasses run on Muse Spark, a new multimodal AI model.
Users can activate the assistant via a physical button to ask about objects, translate conversations in real-time (with 14 new languages), or capture media.
A dynamic photo burst mode helps capture hands-free images, and audio-based pedestrian navigation is planned for a future update.

Availability
Meta Glasses are available starting today through Meta's website, Amazon, Best Buy, and select retailers like LensCrafters and Sunglass Hut.
