iQOO is set to launch the Neo 11 Ultra in China on August 18. Ahead of the event, the brand's product manager, Huihuizi, shared display specifications on Weibo.

The phone will feature a 6.83-inch flat OLED panel with 2K resolution. It will be the world's first screen to use domestically produced F2 luminescent material.

This material is applied using a “micrometer-level evaporation deposition process.”

iQOO claims it boosts luminous efficiency, allowing the 2K panel to consume less power than some 1.5K screens.

The standard iQOO Neo 11, launched last year, already had a 6.82-inch 2K LTPO display.

The new model aims to pack that resolution into a more power-efficient package.

iQOO may also launch the Z11S alongside the Neo 11 Ultra this month. Hands-on units in Radiant White show a 3D flowing light effect on the back panel.
