Compact Design and Portability

The ice maker is designed to occupy minimal space, measuring 290 x 260 x 210 mm and weighing 6.1 kg.

Its footprint is similar to an A4 sheet of paper, making it suitable for kitchen counters, office breakrooms, or small bar areas.

With a rated power of 110W, it can also be powered by a standard car inverter for outdoor use.

Ice Production and Modes

The machine produces eight cubes per cycle and offers two settings: Quick Ice and Standard Ice.

Quick Ice mode generates a batch in about six to eight minutes, while Standard Ice takes longer but yields larger, clearer cubes.

Xiaomi states that the freezing process reduces air bubbles and impurities, resulting in denser ice that takes about seven minutes to melt in 300ml of water.

This is beneficial for drinks like cold-brew coffee, cocktails, or whiskey where slower dilution is preferred.

Capacity and Features

It includes a 1-liter water tank and a removable 0.75-liter ice basket that holds between 64 and 80 cubes at a time.

Over a 24-hour period, the machine can produce up to 13 kg of ice.

The appliance uses R600a refrigerant and is intended for use with purified or filtered drinking water.

Maintenance features include a built-in UV lamp for sterilization and a self-cleaning mode.

Pressing and holding the Ice Making and Reservation buttons for three seconds runs a five-minute cleaning cycle, after which water can be drained through a side plug.

The control panel uses simple LED indicators to show water levels, UV status, and the current ice mode.

A scheduling feature allows users to delay ice production by three, five, or eight hours, ensuring a full basket is ready at a specific time.

A transparent window on the top lid lets users check the ice level without opening the machine.
