Caviar, known for embellishing consumer electronics with precious materials, has introduced a customized version of the Ray-Ban Wayfarer II smart glasses.
The new Odyssey collection adds 24-karat gold, sterling silver, and crocodile leather to the standard wearable.

The collection includes two models: the standard Odyssey with 24-karat gold-plated decorative plaques, and the Odyssey Silver with 22-karat sterling silver inserts.
Both are built on the standard black Wayfarer frames.
According to Caviar, the metal accents are forged, engraved, and polished by hand. The engravings feature Greek motifs, and the temples are adorned with star-shaped black enamel details.

Production is strictly limited to 24 units of each version, a number chosen to correspond with the 24 books of Homer's Odyssey.
The customization also extends to the charging case, which is wrapped in black crocodile leather and features Caviar's emblem on the clasp.
Despite the luxurious exterior, the internal hardware remains unchanged.
The glasses retain all original features of the Ray-Ban Wayfarer II, including the built-in camera for photos and video, open-ear speakers, touch controls, and AI voice assistant.
The battery, camera sensors, and processors are identical to the standard retail version.
Caviar has not specified the additional weight from the metal additions, which is a key factor in daily comfort for smart glasses.
Pricing and Availability
The 24K gold Odyssey model is priced at $6,130, while the 22K sterling silver Odyssey Silver is listed at $6,840.
