Standard Xiaomi 18: Later Launch and First Periscope Telephoto
The standard Xiaomi 18 may arrive much later than the Pro models, possibly in December 2026 or January 2027.
One of the biggest upgrades could be the camera, with leaks pointing to a 200MP periscope telephoto camera, a first for the non-Pro model.
It is also expected to use the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6, though RAM and storage options remain unknown.
For the Indian market, Xiaomi is reportedly planning to launch only the Pro and Pro Max models, with the standard Xiaomi 18 possibly not releasing there.
Pricing for the Xiaomi 18 Pro and Pro Max has not been revealed, and there are no rumors about it yet.
The company has only confirmed that the phones will launch later this month, while global launch plans remain unclear.
The Pro and Pro Max are expected to reach markets outside China, including India, while the standard model could have a more limited release.
On the software side, the entire lineup is expected to run HyperOS 4 based on Android 17.
