Honor has taken an unusual approach with the Honor 600 Pro, launching the global version in April and the Chinese model only recently.
While the two phones appear similar at first glance, they cater to different priorities.

Both devices feature a 6.57-inch OLED display with 120Hz refresh rate, a 200-megapixel main camera, and fast charging.
However, key differences emerge in performance, battery, and design.
Design and Display
The global Honor 600 Pro sports a rectangular camera island reminiscent of recent iPhones, while the Chinese version opts for a pill-shaped horizontal camera bar.
Both use glass and aluminum, with IP68 and IP69K ratings.
Dimensions are nearly identical: the global model measures 156 x 74.7 x 7.8mm and weighs 202 grams; the Chinese version is 156.1 x 74.8 x 7.9mm and slightly heavier due to its larger battery.
Color options differ: global offers Golden White, Black, and Orange; China gets Black, Green, Blue, and Purple.
The display is the same on both: a 6.57-inch AMOLED panel with 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz PWM dimming, HDR Vivid support, and 1264 x 2728 resolution.

Peak brightness is claimed at 8,000 nits, though the Chinese model lists 800 nits typical and 1,800 nits in high brightness mode.
The global version uses Mohs level 4 protection; the Chinese model uses aluminosilicate glass.
Performance: Snapdragon vs MediaTek
The global Honor 600 Pro is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Elite with Adreno 830 GPU, up to 16GB RAM, and 1TB storage.
The Chinese model downgrades to the MediaTek Dimensity 8550 Elite, which is less powerful but prioritizes battery efficiency.
Both run Android 16 with MagicOS 10.
This is a notable shift, as Chinese variants typically feature stronger chipsets. Here, Honor seems to favor battery life over raw performance for the domestic market.

Cameras: Identical Setup
Camera specifications are identical: a 200-megapixel main sensor with OIS, a 12-megapixel ultrawide, and a 50-megapixel telephoto with 3.5x optical zoom and OIS.
The front camera is 50 megapixels, capable of 4K video recording. Rear video maxes out at 4K with gyro-EIS and OIS.
Battery and Charging
The Chinese Honor 600 Pro packs an 8,000mAh silicon-carbon battery, while the global version offers 7,000mAh internationally and 6,400mAh in Europe.
Charging speeds are consistent: 80W wired, 50W wireless, and 27W reverse wired. The Chinese model adds reverse wireless charging.
The 8,000mAh battery is exceptionally large for a slim flagship, surpassing even many gaming phones.
Connectivity and Extras
The global model supports Wi-Fi 7; the Chinese version maxes out at Wi-Fi 6. Both include Bluetooth 6.0, NFC, infrared blasters, stereo speakers, and under-display fingerprint scanners.
The global model uses an optical sensor, while the Chinese variant upgrades to an ultrasonic scanner.
