Utah's Department of Children and Family Services has filed a petition questioning Taylor Frankie Paul's parenting, mental health, and home life, according to documents obtained by TMZ.
The agency is asking a juvenile court to find that Paul's three children have been "abused, neglected or dependent."

Allegations in the Filing
During a May 2026 home visit, Paul told DCFS that her life coach, Kari, was "the only reason she was still alive" and wanted Kari to conduct her mental health and domestic violence assessments.
DCFS claims it informed Paul that Kari was not qualified for those assessments.
The petition also states Paul became upset after reading social media messages and stormed out of the home.

She reportedly told caseworkers she wasn't suicidal but added they "should know who killed her if she ends up dead because she felt no one believes her."
The filing references Paul's 2023 aggravated assault plea from a domestic violence incident where she threw a metal chair at Dakota Mortensen while her daughter Indy was present.
DCFS also alleges that Indy changes her sibling's diaper, prepares bottles, and often hears Paul and Mortensen fighting, which makes her sad.
DCFS claims Paul's therapist told them she had not begun meaningful treatment, seemed uninvested, and appeared to attend therapy only because she felt "forced."

During home visits, Paul's child Ever reportedly sought comfort from Paul's sister and nanny, Aspen. Paul allegedly became "escalated and dysregulated" when confronted about her progress.
Response from Paul's Team
A source connected to Paul said the leak of the juvenile court filing "speaks volumes," noting that such proceedings are private to protect the children.
The source added the filing is based on incomplete information and omits DCFS's documented concerns about the other side.
