A new leak from tipster Digital Chat Station reveals key details about the OnePlus 16's display.
The phone is expected to feature a custom BOE panel with the company's X4 luminescent material.

It will reportedly be the industry's first global 165Hz ultra-high refresh rate, applying system-wide.
The display will also include a self-developed chip made with a new manufacturing process.
The chip is said to undergo three separate calibration processes.

Other features include Oppo's latest eye-protection technology and narrow bezels on all sides.
On the software side, the OnePlus 16 is expected to run ColorOS 17 with new animations for the higher refresh rate.
For gaming, it will use the Oriental Screen 4.0 display with upgraded gaming features.
OnePlus China president Li Jie previously confirmed that three exclusive gaming technologies are being overhauled.

Other leaked specs include a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro chip, a battery near 9,000mAh, and a 200MP periscope telephoto camera.
The rear setup also includes 50MP primary and ultrawide sensors.
The tipster remained vague on camera improvements, saying details will follow later.
