D4vd's legal team has withdrawn from his murder case, leaving the singer to be represented by a public defender.
In court, attorneys Blair Berk, Marilyn Bednarski, and Regina Peter informed the judge they could no longer represent the 21-year-old artist.

The lawyers did not specify a reason, but the move suggests D4vd has run out of money.
Berk, Bednarski, and Peter told TMZ that the court granted their request to withdraw and appointed the Los Angeles County Public Defender's Office after determining David qualified for appointed counsel.

They added, "We continue to support David and his defense against these serious charges."
The public defender's appointment is based on D4vd's indigent status, a stunning twist given his reported $11 million Interscope record deal.
Despite his earnings, D4vd lived in a rental house and showed no signs of extravagant spending, leaving his financial depletion unexplained.

It remains unclear if the attorney change will delay the trial, as no date has been set.
D4vd has pleaded not guilty and is expected back in court on October 19.
