The supporters crossed paths with Clancy's defense attorney, Kevin Reddington, who told reporters his client is "beat up" and "so sad."
Defense Case Nears Conclusion
Inside the courtroom, the defense continued presenting its case as the trial moved toward its final stretch.
Clancy's attorney has argued she suffered from severe postpartum psychosis and other mental-health issues when she allegedly killed her children in January 2023.
Reddington maintains Clancy should not be held criminally responsible, as her mental illness left her unable to understand the wrongfulness of her actions.

A psychologist previously testified that Clancy was legally incapable of understanding that her actions were wrong.

Outside the courthouse, supporters focused on mental-health issues rather than the killings.
