Nicki Minaj is pushing back against a $275,000 lawsuit, asking a judge to remove her from the case, according to court documents obtained by TMZ.

The rapper argues she bears no personal responsibility for the money allegedly owed to 24/7 Productions.

She states the contract in question is between the production company and her own company, Pink Friday Productions LLC.

Minaj asserts that under basic law, an individual member of a company is not liable for the company's debts.

She is requesting the case against her be dismissed and seeks reimbursement of her attorney's fees.

24/7 Productions sued Minaj and her company in 2023, claiming they advanced cash and provided production services for the Jingle Ball and the launch of her album "Pink Friday 2."

They allege they advanced approximately $255,000 in expenses and are now owed a total of about $275,000.

The company named Minaj personally, believing she benefited from the unpaid work.

However, Minaj counters that any benefit she received came through Pink Friday Productions, not from a personal hiring of 24/7 Productions.

This is not Minaj's only legal issue.
