Erika Kirk is pushing for full transparency in the preliminary hearing of the man accused of killing her husband, Charlie Kirk.

She has asked the judge to make all evidence publicly available in the courtroom.

In documents filed this week, Erika stated that she and Charlie's parents traveled to Utah to attend the hearing for Tyler Robinson.

They wanted to "bear witness to the evidence concerning the death of their husband and son."

However, Erika said that during the hearing, certain exhibits were entered into evidence but not shown to the public.

This practice, she argued, hindered their ability to "meaningfully observe" the proceedings.

She believes the lack of transparency will continue to fuel conspiracy theories and speculation about Charlie's assassination.

Erika is asking the judge to order that all previously admitted exhibits be displayed to everyone present in the courtroom, and that any future exhibits also be made public.

Video from Monday showed Erika walking into the courtroom.

She and Charlie's parents later stepped out before a witness described the murder, but returned after a short break.

Prosecutors allege that Robinson fired the fatal shot from a rooftop about 200 feet from where Charlie was speaking at Utah Valley University in September.

They claim DNA evidence ties Robinson to the weapon, but the defense has questioned the reliability of the DNA testing.
