Oppo is reportedly upgrading the telephoto camera on its upcoming Find X10 Ultra flagship.
According to a tip from Digital Chat Station on Weibo, the device will feature a significantly larger sensor for its 10x periscope lens.

The Find X9 Ultra, launched earlier in 2026, already impressed with a 50MP 10x periscope telephoto lens (230mm equivalent) tuned by Hasselblad.
However, its relatively small 1/2.75-inch sensor struggled in low-light conditions.
Bigger sensor for better low-light performance
The tipster claims the Find X10 Ultra's 10x telephoto sensor could jump to a much larger 1/1.95-inch unit, while maintaining a 50MP resolution.

The larger sensor should capture more light, reduce noise, and improve image quality in dim environments.
Digital Chat Station also noted that the sensor will not be the Sony LYT-600, but the exact model remains unknown at this early stage.
Oppo's development of the 2027 Hasselblad flagship appears to be progressing smoothly, unlike some reported delays affecting competitors such as Xiaomi's Ultra series.
Details on other camera modules, display, and battery improvements are still scarce.

By refining the true 10x optical zoom—which uses advanced periscope technology like quintuple prism reflection—Oppo aims to bridge the gap between smartphone and dedicated camera performance.
This approach could help the Find X10 Ultra stand out in the competitive premium camera segment.
If the upgraded sensor materializes, the Find X10 Ultra may become one of the strongest long-zoom camera phones available.
