Oppo has officially introduced the A7 Pro Max 5G, the latest addition to its A-series lineup.
The device stands out as the company's first smartphone with a 10,000mAh battery, and it also debuts Qualcomm's new Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 chipset.

Key specifications and features
The Oppo A7 Pro Max is the world's first phone to run on the Snapdragon 4 Gen 5 platform, built on TSMC's 4nm process.
It features an octa-core CPU with two Cortex-A78 cores clocked up to 2.4GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores up to 2.0GHz, paired with an Adreno G629 GPU.
The handset comes with LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage.
On the front, it sports a 6.78-inch flexible AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (2772 × 1272 pixels), a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, 10-bit color, and up to 1,800 nits of peak brightness.

It also supports a 330Hz touch sampling rate in select gaming scenarios.
For photography, the A7 Pro Max features a 50-megapixel front camera and a rear setup with a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 2-megapixel monochrome sensor, a notification LED, and an LED flash.
Both front and rear cameras support 1080p video recording.
The biggest highlight is its 10,000mAh Glacier Battery, which uses Oppo's proprietary spherical silicon-carbon technology.

It supports 80W SuperVOOC fast charging, 80W UFCS charging, and 27W reverse charging.
Other notable features include an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, stereo speakers with up to 300% volume, NFC, an IR blaster, Wi-Fi 5, IP66/IP68/IP69/IP69K ratings, an AI-powered outdoor mode 2.0, and ColorOS 16 based on Android 16.
Price and availability
The Oppo A7 Pro Max comes in Wave Rider, Orange Glow, and Mountain Black color options.
It is priced at 2,199 Yuan (~$325) for the 8GB+128GB model, 2,699 Yuan (~$400) for the 12GB+256GB variant, and 2,999 Yuan (~$445) for the 12GB+512GB version.

The phone is now available in China. There are speculations that it may be rebranded as the Oppo F35 Pro in India.
