For months, rumors pointed to Samsung replacing its signature floating camera rings with a Pixel-style horizontal strip, fueled by hints from leaker Ice Universe.
However, the new information labels those renders as “incorrect.”
Samsung is reportedly evaluating multiple design concepts internally, but none currently feature a clean horizontal layout.

The company is prioritizing manufacturing simplicity and cost control over a complete camera housing redesign, especially since the S27 Ultra will have one fewer rear camera.
