The parents of Nolan Wells are calling for a thorough investigation into the death of their teenage son, who was found dead after a boating trip to a Fourth of July party spot.
Christine and Elmore Wonsley appeared on "Good Morning America" Friday, telling host Michael Strahan they have many questions and are demanding answers in a case that has captured national attention.

Nolan's body was discovered Monday after he disappeared during a trip to Horn Island in Mississippi, as previously reported.

"We just want honesty and transparency. We want a thorough investigation.
We want that same respect that would be given to anybody else, and that's it. We just want answers," Christine told Strahan.

The case has been marked by contradictions, including deleted text messages, an alleged fight captured on video, and conflicting accounts from those who were with Nolan.

The family's attorney, Ben Crump, has suggested that race may be a factor in the investigation and accused Mississippi authorities of trying to sweep the case under the rug.
