SamMobile discovered the clues while exploring the One UI 9 beta. The rotating device animations show tablets with a centered punch-hole front camera.

These animations were absent in One UI 8.5 (based on Android 16), making them new additions for One UI 9 and Android 17.

Design and software improvements
Switching to a punch-hole design would be a significant step forward.
It could allow Samsung to shrink bezels further and push the screen-to-body ratio closer to what users expect from its smartphones.
