In a recent episode of Alex Cooper's 'Call Her Daddy' podcast, Michael Jackson's daughter discussed her track 'Sirens'.
She described it as her most emotional song because it's based on that real-life incident.

Paris explained that she had to keep her friend alive until paramedics arrived.
They later told her that if she hadn't acted so quickly, he could have been brain dead or worse.
She mentioned having some experience with first-aid measures, but admitted it's hard to know how you'll react in the moment.

Despite the intensity of the situation, Paris didn't get sober until more than a year later. She noted that a person can't embrace sobriety until they're truly ready.

As for 'Sirens', Paris wrote it in 2021 or 2022. She finally decided to include it on her current album when she realized it fit the vibe.
