The device sports an octagonal screen with a camera on the top bezel.
A flip-up housing reveals another camera on the back, both 5MP sensors, allowing kids to take selfies and outward-facing shots.
Health tracking includes heart rate and blood oxygen monitoring, along with 18 sport modes and five fitness assessments.
A water-proximity alert automatically notifies parents if the child is near a lake, pool, or river.

Offline Tracking and AI Positioning
One standout feature is offline tracking.
Even when powered down, the watch can share location data for about five days using a dual-core setup and Xiaomi's Find My network, which relies on nearby Xiaomi devices to relay signals.
Xiaomi's third-generation AI floor-positioning system can identify not just the building but the exact floor a child is on.

Location updates occur every second, providing near-live tracking through the companion app.
The watch also recognizes subway stations, logs a child's commute, and saves the route for parents to review.
Social features allow kids to befriend others by tapping devices together, including watches from rival brands, and support child-safe versions of WeChat and QQ for calls and messaging.
Parents have access to a dashboard showing wear time, app usage, activity, and behavior. They can set screen-time limits and auto-disable the watch during school hours.
