Anker Audio-Visual has introduced a new accessory for its Nebula projector lineup called Nebula SpaceFlow.

The device aims to bring simplified 3D projection mapping to regular home users without the complicated setup typically required.

Announced on May 21, the accessory is designed specifically for the Nebula X1 and X1 Pro projectors.

SpaceFlow scans the room, understands the shape of walls and objects, and adjusts projected visuals to fit naturally into the space.

How Nebula SpaceFlow works

The hardware uses a dual-camera system along with a ToF depth sensor and structured light emitter.

Once connected, it automatically scans the room and creates a rough 3D model of the environment.

It can recognize doors, windows, furniture, and other obstacles before adjusting the projection.

AI integration adds another layer of functionality.

Through the Nebula Connect app, users can describe a scene they want, and the system generates visuals designed to match the room layout.

Anker says users can create jungle-style environments, themed decorations, or animated wall effects without manually editing projection maps.

There is also a library of over 100 ready-to-use templates for holidays and events. Modes like AI Fusion and Free Mode allow for custom scenes.

Projection mapping traditionally required expensive software, careful calibration, and manual work. SpaceFlow aims to make the process more approachable for casual users.

Pricing and availability

The Nebula SpaceFlow accessory will normally cost $799, but it is launching at a discounted $399 for early buyers.

It is sold alongside the Nebula X1 series projectors, which are high-end 4K triple-laser home theater models with brightness up to 3500 ANSI lumens.
