Nuu Mobile has introduced a new budget smartphone in the US that features a secondary rear display, a rarity even in higher-priced devices.
The Nuu B40 5G includes a rectangular 1.6-inch AMOLED "Vista Display" integrated into the camera module.

It offers a resolution of 460 x 228 pixels and up to 500 nits peak brightness for outdoor visibility.
This secondary screen can show the time, charging status, message notifications, music controls, and step tracking without waking the main display.
It also functions as a viewfinder for the rear cameras, enabling easier selfies with the main sensor.

The front of the phone features a 6.7-inch curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution, reaching up to 1100 nits peak brightness.
For photography, the B40 5G sports a 64MP main camera and a 2MP macro lens, while the front houses a 16MP selfie shooter.
Under the hood, the device is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7025 processor, paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage.

It runs Android 15 out of the box.
The phone packs a 5000mAh battery with 33W wired charging support. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.2, dual-SIM support, and 5G connectivity.
The Nuu B40 5G is priced at $249.99 in the US, with launch promotions potentially bringing it down to around $199.

While it does not compete with premium handsets in raw performance or camera quality, the rear AMOLED display gives this budget phone a distinctive edge.
