Apple has started rolling out two health-monitoring features in India that were previously introduced in other markets.
The company is bringing sleep apnea detection to compatible Apple Watch models and a clinical-grade hearing test to AirPods Pro.

Sleep Apnea Detection on Apple Watch
The sleep apnea feature works on Apple Watch Series 9, Series 10, Watch SE (3rd Gen), Apple Watch Ultra 2, and Ultra 3.
It uses the accelerometer to monitor small wrist movements linked to irregular breathing patterns during sleep.
The device analyzes data over 30 days and alerts users if it detects moderate to severe conditions.

Users can view the data in the iPhone's Health app and generate a PDF report.
Hearing Test on AirPods Pro
The hearing test feature is available on AirPods Pro 2 and AirPods Pro 3.

It allows users to take a clinically validated hearing test using the earphones and a compatible iPhone or iPad.
The test takes about five minutes and checks hearing ability across multiple audio frequencies.
It provides a numerical representation of hearing loss and actionable insights, enabling users to assess their hearing at home without visiting a doctor.

Apple is also expected to release hearing aid functionality in India at a later stage.
