Nothing has confirmed that its next major software update, Nothing OS 5.0, will be unveiled on August 25th.
The announcement event is scheduled for 11:00 AM BST (3:30 PM IST), where the company is expected to reveal the release timeline and highlight major upgrades.

This timing suggests a quicker rollout compared to last year, as Nothing OS 4.0 was introduced on September 16th.

An open beta might follow shortly after the event, similar to the pattern seen with Nothing OS 4.0.
While the stable rollout date is not yet known, an early November release is anticipated.

Eligible Devices for Nothing OS 5.0
The following Nothing phones are eligible for the update: Nothing Phone (4b), Phone (4a), Phone (4a) Pro, Phone (3), Phone (3a), Phone (3a) Lite, Phone (3a) Pro, Phone (2a), Phone (2a) Plus, and CMF Phone 2 Pro.

However, the Phone (1), Phone (2), and CMF Phone 1 will not receive the update, as they have already received their promised major Android OS updates.
