LG has introduced the HomeBot AI Objet Collection RONi, a new robot vacuum that aims to redefine premium home cleaning.
The device comes in two versions: the Hidden Station and the Objet Station.

Design and Installation
The Hidden Station fits under a kitchen sink kickboard, with a 15cm-high dock that supports automatic water supply and drainage without cabinet modifications.
The Objet Station is a standalone unit with a side-table-inspired design that can be placed anywhere in the home.
Both models feature an automatic front door that opens only when the robot enters or exits, keeping the unit out of sight otherwise.
Dual 100°C Steam System
LG claims the RONi is the world's first robot vacuum to apply 100°C steam to both the robot and its docking station.
During mopping, steam is sprayed onto the mop to loosen stubborn stains.
After cleaning, the station washes the mop with 100°C steam and hot water, removing up to 99.99 percent of four common harmful bacteria.

Warm air drying reduces odor-causing substances, while a station conditioning system expels moisture to keep the dock clean.
Cleaning Performance and AI Navigation
The RONi packs 30W suction power and spinning mop pads that rotate at 180rpm.
An extendable side brush reaches around 46mm into corners, and a dual-brush design helps reduce hair tangles.
LG's AI object recognition technology uses eight onboard sensors to identify over 120 types of objects, including cables, flower pots, and pet waste.
The robot can notify users about obstacles through the LG ThinQ app and automatically revisit missed areas after obstructions are removed.

It also adjusts suction power and cleaning patterns depending on the room, such as increasing intensity in kitchens.
Privacy and Security
The robot vacuum features LG Shield security, which encrypts collected data and stores encryption keys separately.
The camera remains hidden behind the closed station door after cleaning, addressing privacy concerns.
Price and Availability
Both the Hidden Station and Objet Station are priced at KRW 2.19 million.
Sales begin on July 2 through LG Best Shop, LG's online store, and Coupang.
Early buyers purchasing between July 2 and July 15 will receive a welcome kit, while selected photo review participants will get additional gifts.
