Display and Performance Upgrades
The iQOO 16 is tipped to feature a 6.85-inch Samsung-made flat display with 2K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.
This would be an upgrade from the iQOO 15's 144Hz refresh rate, offering smoother scrolling and gaming.
Under the hood, the phone is expected to use the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 Pro platform with model number SM8975.

Redesigned Rear Camera Module
According to the tipster, the rear camera decoration is changing significantly.
The camera module will move to a small square in the upper-left corner, forming a new design identity.

The engineering units retain a similar screen corner shape and frame design as the previous model.
Other reported features include an 8,500mAh battery with 100W charging, wireless charging, dual speakers, and an X-axis linear motor.
The phone is also said to have IP68/IP69 ratings, USB 3.2, an AR coating, and an OV50Q main camera sensor.

It is speculated that a Vivo phone with model number V2606A, spotted on Chinese certification platforms, could be the iQOO 16.
